| Jersey
Under States of Jersey legislation, all employers have an agreed
ceiling on the total number of people they can employ, the major
proportion of whom are required to be locally qualified. We, therefore,
primarily give consideration to candidates who have residential
status in Jersey, have been 5 years or more working in Jersey or
who are already in employment in Jersey.
Guernsey
Any person wishing to take up employment in Guernsey must hold a
valid Right to Work document, issued by the local Housing Authority,
confirming that he / she is lawfully housed either in Local Market
or Open Market accommodation. Local Market accommodation is restricted
to locally qualified residents. Open Market Accommodation is available
to non-locally qualified residents but such properties tend to be
large and expensive. These housing constraints mean that our recruitment
is primarily drawn from locally qualified residents.
