The Deutsche Bank Hockey Development Programme


Deutsche Bank entered into an agreement with the Jersey Hockey Association to provide Hockey Development sponsorship.

The Deutsche Bank Hockey Development Programme currently supports or funds:

• a series of subsidised weekly training sessions open to all interested junior boys and girls,
• mini-hockey and skills training for primary schools in the Island,
• coaching kit and training equipment,
• the establishment of performance sessions for invited juniors with exceptional talent or recognised potential,
• the costs of visiting coaches for further training of local players, coaches and umpires.

The sponsorship will also help to establish the Deutsche Bank Corporate League, which aims to encourage more adults to get involved in the game of hockey by organising a league and tournament to take place between March and May.

The Jersey Hockey Association incorporates the Jersey Men's Hockey Association and the Jersey Women's Hockey Association and is the governing body for all hockey activities in the Island. There are four ladies' and four men's clubs actively involved in hockey.
