New Chief Executive for Offshore Group

Deutsche Bank is very pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Pichler as Chief Executive of its Offshore Group. He replaces Philip Smith who has retired from the Bank after nearly 30 years.
As a result of recent organisational changes, the roles of Chief Executive and Jersey Managing Director will now be combined. John Boothman, the current Managing Director of Deutsche Bank International Limited, will leave the Group at the end of June. John joined Morgan Grenfell (Jersey) Limited, which became part of the Deutsche Bank group in 1990, as a graduate trainee in 1974 and has held a succession of senior management appointments with Deutsche Bank in Jersey.
Commenting on the changes, Mr Pichler said: "I would like to wish John Boothman well in his future career and thank him for the substantial contribution he has made over many years to the success of our business. We have a very strong team and an extremely positive outlook, not only in Jersey but in all our Offshore Group locations".
