Leading Economists to Visit Jersey

Two renowned economists, “Dr Bob” Froehlich and Dr R McFall (Mac) Lamm, Jr will be speaking to an invited audience from Jersey’s financial services industry at Deutsche Bank’s lunchtime Investment Seminar at the Grand Hotel on Tuesday 15th March.

Dr Robert J Froehlich (“Dr Bob”) is no stranger to Jersey audiences; he is considered an expert on US and global economics, global currency and financial markets, and US and global demographic trends. As Chief Investment Strategist for Deutsche Asset Management in the Americas, Dr Froehlich provides portfolio managers, research analysts and clients around the world with timely analysis of global investment trends and developments and their impact on financial markets.

Dr. Froehlich has evolved into Deutsche US’s leading spokesman. As such, one of his primary responsibilities is to articulate the firm's current investment strategies and market outlook for clients, advisors, media and the general public. He is an experienced speaker and a regular contributor to a variety of financial television programs on CNBC, CNNfn and FOX News.

Fellow speaker, Dr R McFall (Mac) Lamm, Jr., presents at Deutsche Bank’s Seminar for the first time and will be discussing portfolio asset allocation.

Dr. Lamm is Chief Investment Strategist for Deutsche Bank’s Global Investment Management Group in London/New York. He is responsible for the management of client portfolios, advising on investment opportunities and portfolio management innovation. Dr. Lamm also writes global market commentaries that are disseminated worldwide via bank publications and through the news media; he has appeared on CNBC, CNN and other business programmes and has been widely quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times and other publications. He has 20 years of experience in market analysis, trading, investment management and research and is particularly noted for his expertise in the alternative investments arena.
