Staff at Deutsche Bank (Mauritius) Limited
are getting in the party mood and sponsoring fifty-five children
aged between 7 and 14 years to attend a Happy Lunch on Sunday 18th
September.
The children who are supported by the Mauritius Educational Development
and Youth Consultancy Services Epilepsy Group will be joining Deutsche
Bank representatives and other partygoers at the Cathedral KFC at
Port Louis.
As well as helping with transport and serving food and refreshments,
Deutsche Bank personnel will be on hand to help entertain their
guests. Amongst the planned activities are face-painting, indoor
fun and party games, singing and a clown show by Atelier De Theatre
Pierre Poivre.
At every good party there’s always a gift to take home and
the Happy Lunch is no exception with the Vice Prime Minister, Hon
Mr. R. Beebeejaun, in attendance to help EDYCS supporters and Deutsche
Bank staff with the distribution of presents to the children.
Javeed Ameen, Chief Country Officer for Deutsche Bank in Mauritius,
said, “We are always keen to participate in charitable
initiatives in the countries in which we are located and through
Deutsche Bank’s Asia Foundation we are able to support events
such as the Happy Lunch to provide a fun day out for so many children
who are perhaps not as fortunate as others. At Deutsche Bank we
work in partnership with our clients and we are pleased to extend
this alliance with community partners, such as the Mauritius Educational
Development and Youth Consultancy Services Epilepsy Group.”
