In collaboration with the Lions
Club of Port Louis, Deutsche Bank Mauritius staff members are
helping to bring Christmas to local children in need by sponsoring
Christmas trees and gifts at five locations throughout the Island.
Through the Deutsche Bank Asia Foundation, Deutsche Bank has
lent its support to the Lion’s club to help them organise
Christmas celebrations for approximately 1,200 children from the
most vulnerable groups in identified areas of the Island.
Funds provided by Deutsche Bank will be used towards the purchase
of Christmas trees for the school celebrations (known as L’Arbre
de Noël 2006) and also gifts for the children which will
be distributed by Deutsche Bank staff at each event.
Nick Harwood, of Deutsche Bank Mauritius said, “Deutsche
Bank is strongly committed to contributing to the communities
in the 17 Asia Pacific markets where we have a local presence.
“Through the Deutsche Bank Asia Foundation, we are very
pleased to work with the Lions Club of Port Louis to support important
community initiatives such as the “L’Arbre de Noël
2006”.
