New appointment at Deutsche Bank

Kevin Kenchington, the Head of Offshore Compliance for Deutsche Bank has recently re-located to Jersey.

Mr Kenchington, who holds the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate qualification provided by the Chartered Insurance Institute and studied Politics at the University of Durham, is responsible for compliance arrangements for offices in Deutsche Bank’s offshore locations of Jersey, Guernsey, Cayman and Mauritius as well as Deutsche Bank Private Banking operations in Russia and London.

He joined Deutsche in 2004 having been Head of Compliance for Lloyds TSB European Private Banking in Geneva. Prior to joining Lloyds TSB he spent five years at the Financial Services Authority.

Upon announcing his appointment, Mark Hirst, CEO of Deutsche Bank’s Offshore Group, said, “We are delighted that Kevin has joined us in Jersey. This is an important development in providing Compliance support to our business and comes at an exciting time of global plans for the Offshore Group.”
